Our fees are competitive and come at a convenient price for all demographics. At Mount Pleasant Advanced Physiotherapy, we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible care and as such we spend time with you to get a full understanding of your injury and the optimal way to manage it. If it is your first time with us, we prefer to see you for a one-hour initial assessment. We work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits in with your daily schedule, and email you a personalized exercise program that you can access from any device, anytime, anywhere. This means that you may only need a few appointments to get back to what you love doing without pain holding you back.

Physiotherapy Fees

Physiotherapy type: Sports / Geriatric / Pediatric / Orthopedic / Neurological / Cardiovascular / Post-Natal

Initial Visit (including assessment and treatment)* : $100.00

Follow Up Visit (30 minutes) : $70.00

Follow Up Visit (45 minutes) : $90.00

*Note: Initial visit can last from between 45-60 minutes which includes a full body assessment and health history as well as treatment plans, exercises and goals.

We provide direct billing to many insurance companies and large organizations (OTIP, etc.) for all of our services. If your insurance plan is not able to fully cover your session, you will be required to pay out of pocket or coordinate your benefits with your secondary insurance. Do not worry, physiotherapy is tax free and as such you can file it as health care expense for income tax returns.

OHIP / ODSP

Unfortunately, Mount Pleasant Advanced Physiotherapy does not provide OHIP billing as only a handful of clinics that registered before 2004 are allowed to do this. We can assist clients with ODSP by providing invoices and receipts.

MVA / WSIB

We provide direct billing for MVA and WSIB. As such, clients who are eligible for MVA or WSIB can visit us in person and bring with them the pertinent information so we can get in touch with your adjuster. Most of the times, MVA clients do not have to pay out of pocket for any services covered under the Minor Injury Guideline. As for WSIB clients, payment is strictly handled by WSIB as such we cannot ask you to pay out of pocket for services, but rest assured we guarantee this will not affect your treatment sessions. We strive to provide fair treatment to all of our clients.

*Note: Initial visits for massage therapy will last longer than your preferred massage duration. This is because we want to provide you with the full massage time you have booked for and as such, our therapists might do a quick pre-massage assessment and give you post-massage exercises. We recommend that you spare at least 15-20 minutes more than your booked massage duration.

Needling or other types of acupuncture does not cost extra.

*Note: Initial visits for an acupuncture will include a general health review and treatment plans with connecting your mind and body and bringing balance to your Qi. It will last 60 minutes or more depending on your condition.

Unfortunately, Mount Pleasant Advanced Physiotherapy does not provide OHIP billing as only a handful of clinics that registered before 2004 are allowed to do this. OHIP or ODSP does not cover homeopathy.

MVA / WSIB

We provide direct billing for MVA and WSIB. However, homeopathy is not covered under them.

Massage Therapy Package 612 ** : 60 minutes – 12 visits at $80.00 + Tax ($90.40)

*Note: Massage therapy package 606 requires up front payment of a total of $576.30. You must claim your 6 visits of 60 minutes massage therapy within a 12 month duration. We will provide you with invoices on the dates massage therapy was rendered. Should you choose to cancel, a cancellation charge of $40 will be applied to the remaining refund balance. If you wish to select this package, kindly inform our staff about it. Additional visits will be rendered at regular rates.

**Note: Massage therapy package 612 requires up front payment of a total of $1084.80. You must claim your 12 visits of 60 minutes massage therapy within a 12 month duration. We will provide you with invoices on the dates massage therapy was rendered. Should you choose to cancel, a cancellation charge of $40 will be applied to the remaining refund balance. If you wish to select this package, kindly inform our staff about it. Additional visits will be rendered at regular rates.

Physiotherapy Package 610* : Physiotherapy Follow Up – 10 visits at $60.00

Physiotherapy Package 655** : Physiotherapy Follow Up – 5 visits at $65.00

*Note: Physiotherapy package 610 requires up front payment of a total of $600.00 You must claim your 10 visits of physiotherapy follow-up (30 minutes) within a 12 month duration. We will provide you with invoices on the dates physiotherapy was rendered. Should you choose to cancel, a cancellation charge of $40 will be applied to the remaining refund balance. If you wish to select this package, kindly inform our staff about it. Additional visits will be rendered at regular rates.

**Note: Physiotherapy package 655 requires up front payment of a total of $325. You must claim your 5 visits of physiotherapy follow-up (30 minutes) within a 6 month duration. We will provide you with invoices on the dates physiotherapy was rendered. Should you choose to cancel, a cancellation charge of $40 will be applied to the remaining refund balance. If you wish to select this package, kindly inform our staff about it. Additional visits will be rendered at regular rates.

Routine Foot Care Package 650 * : Routine Foot Care Follow Up – 6 visits at $50.00

*Note: Routine foot care package 650 requires up front payment of a total of $300. You must claim your 6 visits of routine foot care follow-up (30 minutes) within a 12 month duration. We will provide you with invoices on the dates foot care was rendered. Should you choose to cancel, a cancellation charge of $40 will be applied to the remaining refund balance. If you wish to select this package, kindly inform our staff about it. Additional visits will be rendered at regular rates.

MVA & WSIB Fees

Mount Pleasant Advanced Physiotherapy is registered and licensed with HCAI (Health Claims for Auto Injuries) and FSCO (Financial Services Commission of Ontario). We can help with the difficulty of dealing with insurance companies. We provide direct billing to your auto insurances or to WSIB through special eClaims portals. So you do not have to worry about dealing with the paperwork!

What should I do if I have been involved in a motor vehicle accident (MVA)?

Immediately following the MVA, you should call you family doctor or if yu don’t have one contact any walk-in clinic. If you feel that your condition requires special medical intervention, please visit emergency care or a hospital near you. You are not required to see your family medical doctor prior to receiving treatment. As primary healthcare providers, we can initiate the treatment portion of your claim.
Our friendly staff can assist you in filling out the necessary paperwork required by HCAI and your auto insurers to start the treatment portion of your claim. You will soon be given an adjuster and a claim number if you are approved.
We can send a letter to your family doctor if you choose, or to your adjuster pertaining the details of your MVA. Usually, a few forms need to be submitted by you first before we can take over.

Mount Pleasant Advanced Physiotherapy is fully registered with WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board). We provide billing for WSIB, so that way you can recover with ease.

What should I do if I have been involved in a workplace injury?

Immediately following the workplace injury, you need to notify your employer so that they can fill out the necessary paperwork to initiate you with WSIB.
If you feel that your condition requires special medical intervention please call your family doctor or visit emergency care or a hospital.
You are not required to see your family medical doctor prior to receiving treatment. As primary healthcare providers we can initiate the treatment portion of your claim.
Our friendly staff can assist you in filling out the necessary paperwork required by WSIB to start the treatment portion of your claim, but we will need a claim number and an adjuster from WSIB from you first.
We can communicate with your employer to facilitate a proper return to work strategy, including making recommendations to modify your duties and hours.
We can send a letter to your family doctor, employer or adjuster pertaining the injury and your recovery goals and timeline.

What To Expect On Your First Visit

On your initial visit, you will be screened at the entrance by our staff. If you choose to wear a mask, you will be provided with one. You will sanitize your hands and sign in. Then your bottom of shoes will be sanitized and your temperature will be recorded. At this point, you would either be allowed or denied entry based on your condition. You can proceed to your service henceforth.
